Twitter Files Extra: The Censorship of RFK Jr.
A new article by myself and Matt Taibbi has just dropped on Racket, along with a short tweet thread
This Twitter File follows yesterday’s insane display by Democrats at the most recent hearing on the Weaponization of the Federal Government. After initially attempting to shut down RFK Jr’s testimony, Democrats dished out even more insults and slander than during the session with Matt Taibbi and Michael Shellenberger.

Democrats appeared to even justify and celebrate government censorship. “No right given to the people of the United States is absolute” said Congresswoman Linda Sanchez, suggesting these rights are not inalienable, but are bequeathed to us at the behest of our betters. “We are not trying to censor speech, we are simply trying to create factually correct information” she went on. Who is “we” and why are we not allowed to ask questions about this “correct information”?
To many people, this looks beyond crazy, but Democrats have clearly agreed to not give an inch despite the overwhelming evidence that governments have been working with Big Tech, NGOs, academia, and more to censor online speech.
They appear to be going full Ceausescu - surely this house must crumble at some point? There are too many glaring contradictions. Of course, we now live in a world with fewer and fewer repercussions for wrongdoing and politics based on pack mentality.
The days of never say never are long gone.
This Twitter File is one more example of how Democrats have become the party of censorship, and just how much the world has changed.
Thank you Andrew. Keep up the great work.
Thank you for continuing to fight for free speech. I don't know much about RFK, to be totally honest, but I do know that a genuine democracy requires that anyone running for public office be given the opportunity to speak their piece so the people can make their own fully informed decisions.
I also wanted to mention that I discovered this afternoon that I had been automatically unsubscribed from your Substack without my knowledge (I was also unsubscribed from about 15 other blogs). I've obviously re-subscribed, but I wanted you to be aware that happened.
